
About Us
Maryborough & District Horse and Pony Club (MDHPC) is affiliated with the Pony Club Victoria (PCV) and Pony club Australia (PCA) and a part of the Midland Zone . The clubs was founded in 1964 by the Angela & Clarrie King, Cyril Martin and Bill & Dot Leech and other families who wanted to establish a Pony Club in Maryborough.
MDHPC has well maintained grounds situated in the back of the industrial estate of Maryborough. The grounds area used for club rallies, competitions and for members to use for training outside of rally days.
With a grade 1 to 6 XC course, enclosed 70mx45m sand Show Jumping arena , two sand Dressage arenas (20x40 & 20x60), another two enclosed working arenas, a 18m steel round yard plus lovely clubrooms, amenities, showers, horse yards and wash bays all within close access to the Maryborough Regional Park there is really something for every riding enthusiast.
MDHPC offers riders of all skills and abilities the opportunity to learn and develop in a friendly supportive environment where the emphasis is on participation and friendship that comes from being a part of the Pony Club movement.
The club offers membership in the below four categories:

Ready 2 Ride for members 3yrs to 10 yrs who are not riding independently.

Junior for riders under 18

Senior 18yrs to 25yrs
-
Adult rider 25yrs and over
The clubs uniform colour is Brown with orange as the secondary colour. The distinctive combination is easily recognisable at events, clinics and club members wear the uniform proudly.
